Lionsgate greenlights an animated John Wick prequel
Lionsgate greenlit an animated John Wick prequel and announced it during its November 5 earnings call. Keanu Reeves will return as Wick and produce the film. Shannon Tindle will direct from a script by Ryan and Kaz Firpo. The story follows the impossible task that freed Wick from his criminal obligations. Point Grey joins the producing team alongside Thunder Road and 87Eleven Entertainment.
