Druski takes his characters and catalog to Netflix

Source: Netflix TudumFull story →

Netflix announced a multiyear partnership with Druski and his 4LIFERS Entertainment company on November 2. The partners will launch Collect & Praise on December 1, 2026, a semi-scripted comedy built around his megachurch pastor character. Netflix will license selected shows and sketches from his existing catalog alongside the new programming. The company says Druski has nearly 40 million followers across social platforms, but it did not disclose the partnership's financial terms.

THE BREAKDOWN

Separate catalog licensing from new-production negotiations when you take a creator to a streamer. Put a defined license term and territory against each existing title. Keep character ownership and sequel rights explicit before accepting a broad exclusivity clause. Ask the buyer to distinguish development commitments from guaranteed production orders. For brand partners, confirm whether existing sponsorships can remain in licensed episodes before promising integrations across both distribution channels.
