Ponte Firm hires coast-to-coast leadership as creator management adds services

Source: DeadlineFull story →

Deadline reports that Shana Davis-Ross's Ponte Firm added four leadership-level hires and promoted one manager as the creator agency builds across New York, Los Angeles, and Texas. Jenna Bissonnette joined as managing director in New York after eight years at HangarFour Creative, a DKC division. Jenna Galan joined as director of talent and partnerships after a digital talent role at Night Media. Roy Peters joined in Los Angeles as senior vice president of talent and partnerships after roles at The Digital Dept., Fullscreen, StyleHaul, and The Sociable Society. Matthew Bojanic joined from Smashbox Cosmetics, and Annie Leggett was promoted to senior talent manager in Texas.

THE BREAKDOWN

Creator management firms are hiring for brand strategy, operations, talent partnerships, and platform-specific deal flow at the same time. Talent should ask what each senior hire actually adds before widening commissionable categories. Managers competing with Ponte need a clear answer on whether they can cover beauty, lifestyle, publicity, retail, and business development in-house. Brand teams should expect more polished proposals from creator reps who understand both agency and brand-side buying. Contracts should define whether a firm gets paid on inbound deals, outbound packaging, licensing, appearances, and product partnerships.
