EPIC: The Musical Gets Animated Film Adaptation From Jerry Bruckheimer and Atlantic Music Group
Academy Award-nominated producer Jerry Bruckheimer is partnering with EPIC: The Musical creator Jorge Rivera-Herrans and Atlantic Music Group president Kevin Weaver to produce an animated film adaptation of the project. EPIC: The Musical is a multi-part musical retelling of Homer's Odyssey that Rivera-Herrans developed and released on YouTube, building a large and loyal audience without a label or network deal. Weaver is a Grammy Award-winning producer whose Atlantic Music Group partnership brings music industry infrastructure to the project. No distributor or release timeline has been announced.
